This Fox Squirrel became the new
matriarch of the backyard.
In her thinner summer coat, she looked a lot smaller and younger than she did in winter. She could be recognized by the black markings on her head, her white belly and orange fur on her paws. She also had a distinctive pierced right ear from some territorial battle. |
