Painted en plein air,
using a card table as an easel and an old towel spread on the ground.
During one of my morning sessions out bush painting this ten panel landscape, I was interrupted by an emu. It came up close out of curiosity. To scare it away, I raised my canvas from the ground, to up on the table. (I got this idea from the film, The Gods Must Be Crazy.) Fortunately this worked |
