From our fifteenth floor apartment in
Rua Gonçalves
Dias, Savassi, we could observe the construction workers toiling on a new
high rise apartment building across the road.
Their life was never easy. Their tools were the basic minimum. Cement was delivered in a wheel barrow to the upper levels via a cage lift. Painted from movement studies that were drawn at our living room window.
