This was a view from the
platform over the anode wheel at the Mount Isa Mines copper smelter.
The anode wheel took molten copper from the anode furnaces and cast it into anodes ready for further processing at the copper refinery in Townsville. Painted on site, wearing appropriate safety gear. |
