Seven furnaces are serviced in
processing order by the crane aisle from west to east . The last two at the
eastern end, were anode furnaces. To the west of there were four converters
and a rotary holding furnace.
This converter pot of molten blister copper was being poured into one of the two anode furnaces. Painted on site, wearing appropriate safety gear. |
