This young Fox
Squirrel had a drey hidden behind ivy, in the three-branch fork of his tree.
Box Elder Maples are desirable for squirrel bedding places. They usually have multiple branches at a fork. None of the Cottonwoods in our backyard, ever tempted the squirrels to build a drey.
